Project: Use of Electrochemistry to Study Pristine and Functionalised MoS2 Membranes.

Jon’s project involves using electrochemistry to study pristine and functionalised membranes of exfoliated molybdenum disulfide. The aim is to understand how the functionalising molecules are attached to the MoS₂ surface and what their behaviour is like in this situation. The purpose of this is to get closer to understanding the mechanism behind the water filtering properties of these functionalised membranes.
