Rothwell Theme

The new WordPress theme for the University is here and is named Rothwell to honour Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell. The Rothwell theme is specially designed to take advantage of the Full Site Editor features now available in WordPress. This theme allows you to easily create unique layouts using the various block patterns included. Whether you are building a single-page website, a blog, a department website, or a research website, Rothwell can help you build a website that perfectly fits your requirements.

The built-in block editor comes with a variety of content blocks such as paragraphs, headings, images, galleries, videos, and more. These blocks allow users to add content to their posts or pages without the need for additional plugins or custom code. And to save time, users can save blocks or groups of blocks as reusable components enabling users to easily insert them into multiple posts or pages.
