COLOURATION
Summary
Current colouration processes are known for causing major environmental impacts by using vast amounts of water, chemicals and energy resulting in water and air pollution. There are recent developments in natural dyeing however these require a lot of natural resources causing depletion. But by adopting a circular approach of using by-products from different industries such as hospitality, timber, cosmetics and food environmental impacts can be mitigated. This solution poses an exciting opportunity for a brighter future for colour.
