Summary

Older people (over 60 years old) are eager to buy sportswear that meets their sporting needs, a type of clothing that is designed specifically for their body type, can adapt to their diverse and gentle types of sports, and is comfortable, versatile, and aesthetically pleasing. However, there is a gap in the market for senior sportswear in China, and there is a lack of sportswear designed for seniors. In line with the "Sports Powering the Nation Policy" (Gov.cn, 2018), StillMotion provides apparel for the elderly, aiming to meet their needs for multi-moderate exercise, daily leisure, and daily activities in a single piece of "universal sportswear", while at catering for their growing interest in Chinese aesthetics.
