Meet the Department Student experience 10 July 2020

Well done on receiving your offer to study in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Our Head of Department William Heath has a personal message for you, as well as the latest information about starting your studies with us in the video below.

We know that starting university at a time like this can be unsettling, but we want to reassure you that we are putting in place every precaution to keep you safe while you complete your studies. For Semester One, all of our lectures will be delivered online and we’ve been working hard to adapt our content to deliver it virtually.

Where practical work is required, we’ve thoroughly assessed our labs to ensure you can still benefit from world-class teaching, and we also hope to continue to deliver small teaching groups in-person with appropriate social distancing measures. Your safety is our highest priority.

We want you to feel confident starting you postgraduate journey with us, if you have any questions about starting here, your studies, or the application process please get in touch! Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming you to the University in October.
