What is graphene and how can it help with the water crisis?

Research in graphene is helping develop an environmentally sustainable future. One example of such efforts is the creation of graphene-based membranes, which have the potential to produce clean drinking water from seawater using low-grade forms of energy. In this video, we present how graphene oxide membranes can form the basis of an emerging water production technology called membrane distillation for a more environmentally sustainable way of producing clean water.
