Why we chose the Faculty of Science and Engineering
Departments UOM life 17 June 2021
Take a short walk around Manchester and it’s easy to see why so many people choose to study here.
A modern, vibrant and diverse city with a fascinating heritage – and not to mention an incredible musical legacy and two of the biggest football clubs in the world – Manchester certainly has it all.
And within it: The University of Manchester. Within that: the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Steeped in history but forever looking to the future, our Faculty is home to world-changing research, world-leading facilities, and – something we’re very proud of – students from all over the, well, world.
But don’t just take our word for it.
To mark undergraduate virtual open week, students across our Faculty have been sharing their reasons for choosing Manchester…
