I am a Lecturer in Biomedicine at the University of Salford since 2022, with a passion for research, business and enterprise. I have over twenty years of experience in Fermentation and Downstream processing of biosurfactants with a wide understanding of interdisciplinary science that facilitates my interaction in an effective way with scientists from different areas, as well as the interaction between the academic and industry environment.

My research has focused on industrial microbiology, and since I have joined the University of Salford has been directed to business and enterprise settings, building a bridge that can merge the industry interest and the academic support to the development of cost-effective platform technologies to aid the society challenges, from the fermentative production of novel molecules, to their applications in different biotechnology industries.
