    Summary<\/span><\/h4>\n

    With its ever-increasing strain on the environment, the apparel industry needs to look towards commercialising alternative materials. Biomaterials are being hailed as next-gen materials but lack the sufficient research for their successful integration into existing business models. Our project looks into several challenges surrounding CAD; manufacturing; technical product development; bio-based dyes and finishes; and compliance, whilst exploring potential solutions to how biomaterials can be made more accessible, functional, and feasible.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
