Professor. Will Branford
Imperial College London

Will Branford is a Professor in Physics and Head of Community for Matter, involved in the London Centre for Nanotechnology and Imperial’s nanotechnology efforts. He is a co-director of the School of Convergence Science: Human and Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on the relationship between structure, geometry, and the magnetic and electronic properties of materials, transitioning from atomic-scale solid state chemistry to nanoscale magnetic textures. He explores magnetic metamaterials like Artificial Spin Ice and investigates new computation methods, including neuromorphic computation and magnonics.
